I'm still having problems with my mouth after havin tooth pulled.?

The pinkish stuff could be new tissue forming in your mouth. Infection is usually pus, and a hot raised area. If you still have a sliver of tooth, you want to have it taken care of before the tissue completely forms over it. That will constantly aggravate the sight - like a splinter in your hand - leaving you more likely for infection. I know the thought of surgery again isn't fun, but you have to consider the option. Have them do some more x-rays, and make sure there isn't a sliver in there. If there is, get a second opinion if you have to, in order to take care of this now. Just keep in mind that a wisdom tooth extraction takes a while to heal - all 4 of mine were impacted, and surgically removed. I went back to work after a few days, but didn't feel great for about 1 month. AHH, it was sooo painful. Good luck.
