Is it possible for a California judge to award an 18 year old who has divorced parents 'college support?'?

I just would like to know if it is or if it is not. Would the custodial parent file a petition, or since the child is 18, does that mean they can file a petition for child support for an 18 year old child? There are different factors that can play into it, is that something to take into consideration?
