Trigonometry word problems?? Any smart math takers?

I'm not at Trigonometry level yet, but I think for the second one it would be like 288 (I rounded a lot), because the thing is 290 ft tall, and the guy is 5 feet tall, and so if you make a triangle, the sides are 285, 40, and X, and the X was found by the A squared + B Sqaured = C squared? lol, sorry if that's off.. I dont start trigonometry for a while.
