Whats the best way to deal with ghetto supervision?

In the nursing field, people from the hood can easily get istance to get technical training to be an LPN and in nursing homes LPNs make like 18/hr. Meanwhile some people that are working our way through formal schooling to become RNs and Therapists have to start off as CNAs that work under LPNs and CNAs make under 12 and hour. The end result is people from the projects being in supervisory roles and many times they bring their uncouthness, unprofessional- ism, and narcissism to the work place. I had to talk to my supervisor last night about how some things she did like ignore me when i was telling her about a patient and of her telling me that she would "bust me in my damn face" during our shift meeting just cos I made a small joke about something. I spoke to her about it later and of course she denied it and tried to brush it all off like it was a joke.. I played along but i need some help how do you deal with ghetto bosses?? To make things worse she tries to talk to me all the time while i avoid her and she asked another coworker what we were talking about as if she was jealous i was talking to her....HELP
