If Atheism is the absense of belief in Religion, then why do they seem to waste time here in R&S?

Atheists are obsessed with religion. Why else would they make a life-decision to oppose it? If they were TRUE atheists, by definition, they wouldn't care and there would be no such commitment necessary.
