What does a dairy company use "Milk Powder" for (I ume they should be manufacturing it)?

I've been reading on a dairy company that they buy high quantity of milk powder for their business. My concern is the fact that I know they product pasteurised milk, yoghurt and juice so it doesn't justify why they'd need powder milk...
