What entices a gamer to leave the house?

My boyfriend is kind of weird because he won't leave the house for anything. He even gets his mom and I to get him his game cards for his mmo's (Not that I have anything against MMOs, I personally play and love them). He usually gives me the excuse that there's 'nothing good outside/there/ at (insert place here) to do'. What's a fun thing that any gamers out there would enjoy doing on a date out (to somewhere other than azeroth) with their girlfriend?
