How is Innova doing for your puppy?

My adult large breed dogs had problems with Innova - lots of diarrhea and gas despite a slow transition and sticking with it for awhile and carefully measuring portions (you feed less with superpreumiums). I think it is true that foods higher in protein can be a problem for dogs that are small breeds or are not high energy working dogs (such as herding dogs or dogs heavily involved in dog sports) and for large breed puppies who need slow, controlled growth. I switched to California Natural - also made by Natura that makes Innova. High quality ingredients but a bit lower protein levels. Also good for dogs with allergies (one of mine does). I think it is a good option for you if Innova seems to be too much for your dog.
